That is not a metaphor. It is roughly the first program I ever ran, and I have been getting paid to make computers do slightly more useful things than that ever since.
Fourteen-odd years, a few career pivots, one wrist that needed surgery, and more WordPress installs than I can count later, here we are: a CV built entirely inside wp-admin, because at some point "just use a template" stopped being funny enough on its own.
